Humour is often used by Mark Twain to soften his blow on social criticism. In this, Twain attacks on the people who waste their time by giving too much importance to religion “Traditional Christianity”. For example, when Mrs. Watson had explained about hell and heaven to Huck, Huck expresses his wish to be in hell because he feels that people who go to heaven are boring as they play with their harp and sing all the time. Twain expresses his thoughts through Huck in this novel. He feels that people are wasting their time in too much of religion and living in illusions of the image Heaven.

Well, In the huckleberry finn writer "Mark Twain" did the social criticism by using the tool of humour .He use the characters of the story to do the social criticism. Even he use the solid reasons to support his criticism . The use of satire in whole of the novel is clear. Like the religious criticism he did when Mrs watson tells about good and bad stuff to the huck who in turn response in a humorous way as he desire to go in a hell.. The writer also leaves deeply messages in various social criticism mentioned in the novel.
