The rules of the family help to create a framework. A family rule is a specific, clear statement about behaviours you expect from your child. Regulations work best when clear, predictable, straightforward and follow-up are available.

EXPLANATION:

The reason why parents lay the rule that no friend is allowed if parents are out because this can sometimes lead to a dangerous situation that can prove fatal, risky or even catastrophic for the child as well as the friends (especially, since parents are answerable to other parents’ kids who visit their child in their absence when something goes wrong) of that house and also can harm the children which in turn can hurt parents, as well. Hence, they prohibit children to not allow friends enter the house when the parents are out.
