The non cooperation remained non-violent at most of the places but some people interpreted the message of Gandhi gi in there own ways mostly to suit their local provinces.

(1) The patidar peasents of kheda Gujrat organised non-violent campaigns against the high land revenue demand.

(2) The poor and tribal people of Gantur staged a number of forest Satyagrahs to protest the new forest laws.

(3) The khilafat cooperation movement gave enormous support in Sind and Bengal.

(4) In punjab the Akali agitation of Sikhs demanded to remove corrupt mahants from gurdwaras.
