Weeding can be done by any one of the following methods :
1. By removing weeds manually.
2. By Robin weeds using a trowel or a harrow.
3. By searching weedicides over the crop.

The chemical substances which destroy weeds but not harm the crop are called weedicides.

Common weedicides are :
i. 2,4-D.
ii. MCPA.
iii Butachlor.
