The weavers are making, early in the morning, a garment for a ‘new-born child’ which is of blue colour. This blue resembles the wing of the halcyon bird – it looks happy and bright in its innocent appearance. The weavers, in the evening, are making the ‘marriage-veils of a queen’ which is as light as a feather and the purple and green coloured veil is colourful like the ‘plumes of a peacock’.On a cold and chilly night the weavers are weaving the ‘shroud’ for a dead body. The life has left the body of the person and so the weavers are extremely sad and quietly doing their job of making a white cloth to cover the body. The whiteness of the cloth is as light as white feather of a bird, and also like white cloud indicating that the soul of the dead man has reached near God.
