The principal parts of a loom are the frame, the warp-beam or weavers beam, the cloth-roll (apron bar), the heddles, and their mounting, the reed. The warp-beam is a wooden or metal cylinder on the back of the loom on which the warp is delivered.

Explanation:
you must have noticed that some woven fabrics look dense and compact whereas other open.
this differences is due to the thread count which refers to the total number of warps and weft per square inch of woven fabric . thread count tells us about the fabric quality and durability. fabric with a higher thread count is better than fabric with lower thread count. also for good quality fabric ,wraps and weft should be more or less equal in number .
