first of all forests just cant disappear from earth so suddenly as you are thinking...but it can disappear only if some human activity takes place .therefore if it does, all the main source of oxygen which we get will surely disappear.then the green house effect-then the incredible rise in cardondioxide level-then all the animals would loose their habbitats-then WHAT NOT! it shall really be vry hard to imagine life on earth.... but by the time we understand any thing, earth wll be no more. therefore just really pray that no forests disappear further... i hope my answer helps you in some or the other way!
