Although the international organisations such as the UN work for the betterment of the countries, they cannot be called totally democratic.
- There are nations like China, USA, Russia, etc. who have VETO power i.e. no decision can be made if even one of those five veto countries disagree on the decision to be made. This is against democracy as some nations hold greater powers over others.
In a democracy, everyone's opinion matters.
-In World Bank, from last 3-4 decades, The President of World Bank has been a citizen of USA. Also, since USA is the major source of funds for the organization, it holds Superiority.
This is something that a democracy doesn't feature.
