Answer:

Nazism became popular in Germany by 1930 because of various reasons:

After the first world war, Germany was defeated by allied power and it was forced to sign the harsh and humiliating Treaty of Versailles in which Germans were considered guilty for the war and damages the allied powers Suffered. Germany lost overseas colonies and 13% of its territory.

Looking at these conditions People felt that Hitler would restore their economy or the condition of Germany. He organised the Nationalist Socialist German worker’s party which was commonly known as the Nazi party. He promised to restore the glory and prestige of Germany which helps him to get the support of people. His speeches moved the people as he promised to weed out all foreign influence and resist all foreign conspiracy against Germany. He used rituals and mass mobilization to spread his ideas.

Massive rallies and public meetings were held to encourage other people as well. He was considered as the ‘Masiha’ who had arrived to save the people's lives against foreign influence. He also got the support of youth as he promised them to provide employment.

Note: Being a great orator he used his words and speeches as the biggest tool to influence people to support the Nazi party. He came at the time of distress when people were feeling helpless, which also helped him to spread Nazi propaganda or Nazism.
