THE BULLETS WHICH WERE SUPPOSED TO BE FIRED HAD CARTRIDGES MADE OF SKIN OF COW AND PIG . THESE CARTRIDGES HAD TO BE BROKEN BY TEETH . AS MANY SEPOYS WERE HINDUS AND MUSLIMS IT HURTED THEIR SENTIMENT
