The given statement is discussed below:

Explanation:

  • Access to basic services is critical for sustaining health and avoiding and managing the disease. Basic services include education, health services, water, sanitation, waste removal, housing, and electricity. Health services, education, and housing are the costliest basic service that people with low-income cannot afford.

  • Unequal access to education creates an employment void or leads to low-income jobs, unemployment, and countless social problems. Homelessness and difficult access to the health care system leads to a number of health problems, both physical and psychological. Low education level raises the gap in society between low-income and higher-income groups. Living in an unfair society causes anxiety and stress, which may damage the health of people.

  • Countless people are drowned in poverty, most of them lack the potential to claim their rights and fight for access to basic service. People with meager access to basic services are at greater risk of committing a crime. Most people commit crimes to meet their basic needs. Having the facility to get and keep a job and a secure living place are the most necessary factors for preventing crime and social injustice.
