Wind is an active agent of gradation mainly in the desert. It blows unchecked due to lack of vegetation. The sand and dust particles are carried over greater distance. These get deposited when the wind velocity reduces or when there is an obstruction in the path of the wind.

in regions where there is a little rainfall and merge vegetation the land is exposed and to strong winds the loose the particles are easily blown away by the strong when does the wind is also an agent of graduation the action of wind is most common in the desert regions .
