Discuss with a few old people the time when electricity and electronic appliances were not easily available. Ask them how they used to cook food, heat water, warm and cool their homes during winter and summer. Write down in your own words how electricity has changed our life.

In earlier times,people use to make food on chulhas (made of clay i.e wet soil) .They collect dry woods ,dry leaves,sticks etc and burn it either by machis or rubbing stone .They cook food ,heat water by this only.In earlier times most of the houses were made of mud which was cool so they don't need many more extra things for it.Also in comparison to present time ancient times temperature was less.they used handfans in summers .In winters they burn woods for heat.

Now electricity has made our life luxurious and comfortable as we do not need to struggle soo much for anything.but it has many disadvantages also
