Abnormalities in white blood cells (WBCs) are nearly always quantitative (eg, too many or too few WBCs). These disorders may be neoplastic, as found in leukemia, or nonneoplastic.

A qualitative or functional disorder of WBCs may accompany the quantitative disorder.

Hemochromatosis (condition that develops when too much iron builds up in the body) hemolytic disease of the newborn.

Hereditary spherocytosis (rare blood disorder in which defects in the red blood cells cause them to be shaped like spheres and break down easily) iron deficiency anemia.

Hope it helps❤️

(RBC)=RBCs contain a red coloure protein called haemoglobin. This haemoglobin combines with oxygen to from oxyhaemoglobin which help in transporting oxygen throughtout the whole body.

(WBCs)=white blood cells are slightly larger than red blood cells. The main functoin of WBCs is to defend the body against infections.
