potential resources are those whose entire quantity may not be known and these are not being used at present. ex : uranium found in ladakh.

for stock ...water is a compound od hyrogen and oxygen b...which can be used as aa rich resource but we dont have appropriate technology to do it

potential resource has a potential which will be used in future... where as stock are the resource which also have the potential to be used in future but till now human beings don't know the appropriate technology to use it.
