That’s only good way to sleep well & worry nothing. Because being dishonest ,the ghost or guilt of our many unsocial acts will haunt us forever until we not confess it to us & people .We never know that sometimes pocket picking ends at murder or heinous crime & we suffer whole life . Better to be honest to your present condition & always try to make it more confortable by being hard working & honest at heart, mind body & soul.
Many times when we dishonest or not tell any truth, how much we speak lies to just hide our 1st lie or act of dishonesty. So better be we never let the grow seed of dishonesty in our life. Just be proud at what & who you are. People will respect your simplicity & honesty a lot. Praise the lord to be with to enlighten the path of truth & true to be you. Dishonesty never pays in the long run
Joseph B. Wirthlin has rightly said, “Honesty is of God and dishonesty of the devil; the devil was a liar from the beginning.” Honesty is revered as a divine virtue all across the world. However, people who practice honesty in their thoughts, words, and deeds are very rare.
Each culture aims at instilling honesty in the minds of their young children through education. Their books, co-curricular activities, observance of special days in remembrance of great personages, etc. all eulogize this virtue. In spite of so much emphasis on ‘Be Honest’ the temptations against ‘Be Honest’ are far stronger.
Dishonesty is bound to face humiliation and wrath of people and time. Time has never spared dishonest people from disgrace, fall, and justice. Dishonest people have always been hated and punished by mankind since old times. Judas Iscariot, the dishonest and 13th disciple of Jesus Christ, who betrayed him will be considered a villain as long as there is mankind on this planet.
Similarly, in the modern times, however rich or influential a man may become, if he is known to be dishonest, people hate him. Many corrupt politicians who rose to power and did scams, are loathed by the masses and have never been reelected.
On the other hand, honest people have been the role-models of mankind. Jesus Christ, Abraham Lincoln, Einstein, Addison, Graham Bell, Helen Keller, Mahatma Gandhi, Booker T. Washington, Martin Luther King, Dr. Kalam, etc have been the heroes of mankind because of their honesty.
So, the word of advice is ‘Be Honest’ though you may find initially it to be quite difficult. In the long run only honesty wins. Dishonesty is treated as an ugly offence, which people love to get rid of.
