Dispersion is actually defined as the separation of white light into different colors according to the wavelength..
Rainbow is one of the most obvious phenomenon of dispersion in our daily life. In this case, white light separates and gives seven colors namely, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet respectively. However, there are some other applications which shows the phenomenon of dispersion:
1.Dispersion through prism or glass.
2.On CDs
