Displacement may be zero even when distance travelled is not zero? is it true? is the reverse akso true? give examples

Reverse of this statement is false that is not true....

Example

Suppose we r moving in a circular ground... A
Our distance will be x and we r returning on the same point A...

So our displacement will be zero...

Yes it is true that displacement may be zero even when the distance is zero. The reverse is not true i.e if the distance is zero then displacement is also zero
Ex: if a ball is thrown vertically upwards from point A and the ball comes back to point A ,
the displacement will be zero but the distance will not be zero
