In the displacement time graph the time is taken on X-axis and the displacement of the body on y axis. From this graph we can determine velocity. since the velocity is the ratio of displacement and time therefore the slope of displacement time graph gives velocity. if the slope is positive the body is moving towards the starrer point .if it is negative it is returning back to starrerpoint

Q. Displacement - time graph
--------------------------------------------
A graph showing the change in position of an object i.e, displacement with the charge in the time is called its displacement - time graph In the displacement - time graph, the time is taken on the X - axis and the displacement of the body is taken on the Y - axis.

Since velocity is the ratio of displacement and time, therefore the slope of the displacement - time graph gives the velocity .
