Advantages of slide rule:

It doesn’t rely on electricity to work.

Slide rule can be made out of cardboard or paper and doesn’t need any costly material.

It tends to moderate the false precision and significance.

Slide rule seems to be more useful while calculating percentages.

There is no chance for any wrong input.

Disadvantages of slide rule:

Mechanical imprecision may bring errors.

Inputs are always analogous.
