...∆H for this process will pe positive as it is an endothermic reaction
...but for any reaction to be spontaneous...∆G must be a -ve value
...hence if ∆H is positive....∆S has to be a greater positive value than ∆H... so that the overall ∆G is -ve and the process is spontaneous
.....and if you see...dissolution of ammonium chloride forms NH4+ and Cl- ....i.e. the entropy increases hence the process is spontaneous
