Answer:

= [ 5 + (-3) ] +[ 4+ 0]

= ( 5-3 ) + (4)

= ( 2 ) + (4)

= 2 + 4

= 6

[ same signs always added and different signs are always subtracted.]

answèr:- 6

Answer:

Let (5,-3) be (x1,y1) and (4,0) be (x2,y2)

Distance between two points =

 \sqrt{ ({x2 - x1})^{2}  +  {y2 - y1}^{2} }  \\  \\  =   \sqrt{ (5 -  4{)}^{2}   { + (0 - ( - 3))}^{2} }  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{ {1}^{2}  +  {3}^{2} }  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{1 + 9}  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{10}
