Distance between Adjacent Crest and trough is called Wave length.
Wave length is represented by λ
λ/2 = 1.5 cm = 1.5 /100 = 0.015 m.
λ = 0.03
Also Given Frequency ( n) = 100 Hz .
We know that,
Wave velocity ( v ) = n λ.
So,
v = 0.03 * 100 = 3m/s .
Therefore ,Wave velocity is 3 m/s

heya mate your answer goes like this
Wave length means the distance between the adjacent trough
let ( y ) be the symbol of wave length
note
only in this answer
so now
y/2 = 0.15m = 0.015cm
y = 0.03
and also
we have ,
frequency of wave (n) = 100Hz
so now
wave velocity = n ×y = 100 × 0.03 = 3
therefore , we can say that wave velocity = 3m/s
