left house at 6 , distance due 9 km .

time 6:40 , distance due 3 km .

time 6:45 , distance due still 3 km . body at rest no movement .

time left 15 mins and distance covered 3 km .

therefore we can calculate this speed in the second part of the journey is 12 km / hr .

average speed is 9 km / hr

Answer:

Answer:

Explanation:

The speed with which Vijay covered the second part of journey

=  \frac{Distance\:left\:to\:reach\:Ganesh's\:HOUSE}{time\:left}

= \frac{9km\:-\:6km}{1\:hour-\:45\:min}

=  \frac{3km}{\frac{1}{4\:}hour}

12kmph

Average speed = \frac{Total\:distance\:covered}{Total\:time\:taken}\:=\:\frac{9km}{1hour}

= 9kmph

6.6666666666667 min/km

=  6 min/km 40 sec/km
