Therefore, Using the distance Formula,

Distance between the two points =

 =   \sqrt{ {(x2  -  x1)}^{2} -  {(y2 -  y1)}^{2}  }

 =  \sqrt{(4  -  2)^{2}  +  {(1  -  3)}^{2}  }

 =  \sqrt{ {2}^{2} + ( - 2)^{2}  }

 =  \sqrt{4 + 4}

 =  \sqrt{8}

 = 2 \sqrt{2 }  \:  \: units
