Please find below the solution to asked query :-

Let x be the distance to center of the mass from oxygen to the atom so, the distance to the center of the mass from the oxygen atom

= 1.13 * 10^{-10}-x

Here Mass of the carbon atom  m_1 = 12

and mass of the oxygen atom  m_2 = 16

Now m_1X = m_2(1.13*10^{-10}-x)</strong> <strong>

finally:-

X = 0.646*10^{-10}m
