As we know that,

Distance can be defined as the total length covered by any body in a specific time period.

As we know that,

If any body is moving, then there will be some speed associated with the body.

So, let if any body is moving with a speed of x Kmph.

It means the body will travel "x" Km of distance in 1 Hour of time.

Means, from here we can say that,

Distance covered by any body can be determined by multiplying the speed by the time.

So, we can say that,

Distance = Speed \times Time\\

Hence, Option (a) is correct expression for the distance,

We have to write the formula used to find the distance.

As we know that the formula is used to find the speed is:

Speed=\frac{Distance}{Time}

Therefore,

The formula to find the distance is:

Distance=Speed\times Time

Hence, the Distance covered is Time × Speed.

And option a) is the correct answer.
