To find : Compare

Solution:

Distance from the neptune to the sun  = 4.55*10⁹ km

distance of earth from the sun 1.49*10¹¹  m.

To compare both 1st have common units

1 km = 1000 m  = 10³ m

=> Distance from the neptune to the sun  = 4.55*10⁹ * 10³ m  

=  4.55*10¹² m  

Distance from the neptune to the sun  / distance of earth from the sun

= 4.55*10¹² m / 1.49*10¹¹

= 3.05 * 10

= 30.5  

Distance from the neptune to the sun  / distance of earth from the sun   = 30.5 times
