Given length of chord AB = 12 cm.

Distance of chord from center = 8 cm.

OC=8 cm .AC= 12/2 =6 cm

In △OAC

OA²= Ac²+OC²

OA²=(6)²+(8)²= 36+64

[ OA=10 cm].

∴ Diameter of circle is 2(OA) = 20 cm
