distance from chord = OC = 8cm
length of chord = AB = 12cm
In triangle OCA
angle C = 90°
AC = 6cm ( 12/2 cm)
OA = Radius =?
by Pythagoras
OA^2=OC^2+AC^2
OA^2 = (8)^2 + (6)^2
OA^2 = 64 + 36
OA^2 = 100
OA = 10 cm
radii = OA = OB = 10 cm
diameter = 20 cm
length of chord = AB = 12cm
