Time taken = 1 hr { In both the cases }

Distance covered by Hamid = 9 Km

Distance covered by Akhtar = 12 Km

As we know that speed = Distance / Time

So,

Speed of Hamid = (9/1) Km/hr

Speed of Akhtar = (12/1) Km/hr

Ratio of speed of Hamid to speed of Akhtar is ⬇

9/1 ÷ 12/1 = 9/1 × 1/12

= 9/12

.°. Ratio = 9:12 or 3:4
