Non-trading concern:
The concerns whose main objects are not to earn profit but render valuable services to its members and to the society are recognized as non-trading concerns.

- The main motive profitable concern is to earn profit. The main motive of the non-trading concern is to render service to members and family.
- Profitable concern deals with trading and manufacturing activities. Non-trading concern offer services to hospitals, education institution and charitable institutions
- Funds are contributed by the proprietors in the form of capital in profitable concern. Funds are raised by means of donation, subscriptions and surplus in non-trading concern.
- We get net profit or net loss from the profitable organization. We get surplus or deficit from the non-trading organization.
