weight is the amont of force with whic& the object is attracted towards earth

mass can nevr be 0
weight can be 0

mass is measured by beam balance
weight is measured by spring balance

It is a scalar quantity.
Weight:-
Force with which an object is attracted towards center of the Earth due to gravity.
It is a vector quantity.
