AMMONOTELIC ANIMALS :

The organisms whose excreted waste consists of AMMONIA is called as ammonotelic organisms. As ammonia rapidly reacts in water the excretion is composed of both water and ammonia. Here a large amount of water is excreted.

                            EXAMPLE: fishes.

UREOTELIC ANIMALS:

The organisms whose excreted waste consists of  UREA is called as ureotelic organisms. Here  the excretion of water as a waste is minimised.

                       EXAMPLE: humans.

URICOTELIC ANIMALS:

The organisms whose excreted waste consists  of URIC ACID is called as uricotelic organisms. Here the excreted waste is maximumly a solid excreta.

                 EXAMPLE: birds.
