2:-it often forms as a precipitate with its product

displacement reaction:-
1:-it is a type of reaction in which more reactive element displaces a less reactive element from their salt solution
2:-it not generally forms precipitate

displacement reaction- when an element displace with another element and form its compound is called displacement reaction.
Zn+CuSO4---> ZnSO4+Cu
Double displacement reaction- the reaction in which two different ions or group of atoms in the reactant molecules are displaced by each other is called double displacement reaction.
