Answer:

According to Thomson atomic model:

  • an atom seems to be a watermelon
  • an atom consist like shape of watermelon and the seeds is electron
  • it moves randomly under the watermelon shaped like structure
  • electron moves around the nucleus few permissible orbit

according to Rutherford atomic model:

  • most of the space in an atom is empty
  • positively charged nucleus at the centre
  • very small size of nucleus
  • high density of nucleus

hope it helps:)

Answer:

Thomson model of atom is the model which states that electrons are embedded in a positively charged solid material which is spherical in shape. Rutherford model of atom is the model which explains that there is a nucleus in the center of the atom and electrons are located around the nucleus.
