Primary air pollutant- Those pollutants which directly mix with air to cause pollution is known as primary air pollutant .
eg - Carbon dioxide .

Secondary air pollutant -The primary pollutant when dissociated by ultra violet ray or any other environmental factor leads to formation of another air pollutant
