In balanced forces, the two individual forces act in opposite direction. Conversely, in unbalanced forces, the individual forces either act in same or opposite direction. A non-contact force is a force which acts on an object without coming physically in contact with it.

Balanced Force- The type of force in which the 2 forces are acting on the opposite side and the net force or resultant force is zero (0). There will be no movement during this type of force.

Unbalanced Force- The type of force in which the 2 forces are unequal and the net force or resultant force is a constant. There will be movement during this type of force.

(b)

Contact Force- It is a type of force that is applied by objects in contact with each other.

Non-contact Force- When objects do not need to come in contact to apply force is called as Non-Contact Force.
