Explanation:

Crop rotation:

It is the is usually practiced so that the soil is not used for only one set of nutrients. It helps in reducing soil erosion and increases soil fertility and cropyield. The practice involves growing a series of dissimilar or different types of crops in the same area in sequenced seasons.

Mixed cropping:

Intercropping is growing two or more crops at the same time in the same field. It is a practice often associated with sustainable and organic farming. It is commonly used in tropical parts of the world, particularly by small scale farmers in Africa, but it is far less widespread in the mechanised agriculture of Europe and North America.

In intercropping, there is often one main crop and one or more added crops, with the main crop being the one of primary importance because of economic or food production reasons. The two or more crops used in an intercrop may be from different species and/or different plant families.

Explanation:

(Crop rotation)=it means growing only one crop in one season and growing other crop which needs the nutrients and minerals other than those which are used by first crop in other season.

It balances the minerals content in the soil and maintains the fertility of the soil.

(Mixed cultivation)= it means growing more than one Crop in same land in same season.

It has both advantages and disadvantages

b)( pesticids)= these are artificial chemicals used to kill pests which damage the crop.

It also kills the farmer friendly organisms like earthworms, bees which help in pollination.....

(Weedicides)= these are chemical substances used to kill weeds which compete with crop for sunlight, water, air, minerals etc......

This may also effect the crop too.....
