IN direct redox reaction both oxidation and reduction takes place simultaneously and chemical energy is coverted into heat energy whereas

In a direct redox chemical reaction, the process of oxidation and reduction is carried out at the same place in one cell or container.

In an indirect redox chemical reaction, the process of oxidation and reduction cannot be carried out in the same cell or container. Both reactions take place at the separate places.
