Hello Friend,

The answer you are looking for is down below but before you get to your answer I wanted to tell you that please thank my answers and follow me... If you have finished doing it then ROSES FOR YOUR KINDNESS

Explanation:

VALENCE ELECTRONS OF METALS & NON METALS

METALS

  • If the number of electrons in the outermost orbit is  1, 2 and 3
  • eg:-sodium ,calcium and aluminium
  • it forms positively charged ions-ELECTRON DONOR

NON METALS

  • If the number of electrons in the outermost orbit is  5, 6 and 7
  • eg:-chlorine, oxygen
  • it forms negatively charged ions-ELECTRON ACCEPTOR

METALLOIDS

  • Number of valence electrons are normally 4

NOBLE GAS

  • It has a stable electronic configuration
