Answer:

Over-population is when there are too many people, to be supported to a good standard of living, by the resources of a region or country.

Under-population is when a region or country has insufficient workers to exploit their resources efficiently, to support retired populations and to provide growth.

The difference between “immigrate” and “emigrate” is that “immigrating” is the act of entering a foreign country to live while “emigrating” is the act of leaving a country to live in another.

Expalnation:

a) Overpopulation: This is an area that has too many people and not enough resources to maintain a reasonable standard of living in that area. Resources may include food, jobs, technology, services, energy.

Under population: Under population exists when a population is too small, therefore unable to fully utilise the available resource endowments. Under population is also characterised by a situation where the available resources are capable of supporting a much larger population with no reduction in living standards.

b) Emigrants: It refers to " a person who leaves a country or region.” Emigration is “an act or instance of emigrating.”

Immigrants:  It refers to “a person who has moved to another country, usually for permanent residence.” Immigration is “the act of immigrating, or the act of moving to another country.”
