acceleration :- rate of increase of velcoity. In acceleration, velocity keep on increasing.

If increase in velocity is constant then it is uniform acceleration else non-uniform acceleration

retardation is negative acceleration.

It is rate of decrease of velocity. In retardation, velocity keep on decreasing.
