Distinguish between acient india and modern india in aims of education

There is a great difference between ancient India and Modern India

In Ancient India

There were Anglicists and Orientalists,

Anglicists promoted Sanskrit and Persian language while orientalists supported British type of education. British wanted to have a link between them and rulers thats why they supported orientalists.

Now a days everyone is free to study anything. There are no orientalists or Anglicists.|
