A biom is an area of the planet that can be classified according to plants and animals. The amount of temperature, soil, and light and water helps determine what life is in biom.

A biom is different from an ecosystem. An ecosystem is the interaction of staying in the environment and nonliving things. A biom is a specific geographical area where it is remarkable for the species living there. A biome can be made from many ecosystems. For example, an aquatic biome may have ecological mechanisms like Coral Reef and Calp Forest.

All scientists do not classify the biom in the same way. Some use broadclassification and six are counted as biomes. These are forests, grasslands, fresh water, sea, deserts and tundra.

Other scientists use more accurate classification and give a list of dozens of different biomes. For example, they consider various types of forests to be different biomes. Tropical rain forests that are hot and wet throughout the year are a biome. Weak deciduous forests - which have winter winters, hot summers, and those dominated by trees that lose their leaves-are separate biomes. Taiga forests, which are in cold terrain and are under coniferous FIR and spus, are yet another biom.

Limitations between biomes are not always fast defined. For example, sometimes there are transit areas between grass fields and forest biom. There are transit areas between neutral and wetland terrestrial and aquatic biom.

Biomes are transferred as a climate change. Ten thousand years ago, some parts of North Africa were cut from the flowing streams. Hippopotamus, giraffe, and crocodile lived among the prolific trees. Gradually, the climate dried up. Today, this area is part of the Sahara desert, the world's largest desert.
