sea are smaller but oceans are larger than seas i.e.:-
-Sea is smaller in size than the ocean.
-Sea bed can be reached for experiments but, ocean bed is almost impossible to reach.
-Light can reach the sea bed but, it can’t reach in case of ocean bed.
-There are number of seas but, there are only five oceans in the world.
-In general, Sea are close to land but, the oceans are boundless or immeasurable.

An ocean is a vast and a continuous frame of salty water that shelters almost 70 percent of the total earth's surface while a sea is a large body of saline water that occupies a greater part of the world's surface but is smaller than an ocean.
