Aerobic respiration takes place in the mitochondria and requires oxygen and in mitochondria glucose is present after reaction of glucose and oxygen it produces carbon dioxide, water, and energy. (glucose + oxygen -> carbon dioxide + water+energy).

Anaerobic respiration also produces energy but it produces less energy and does not require oxygen or lack of oxygen . It takes place in yeast and in our muscles cell.

The end products of aerobic respiration are carbon dioxide, water, and energy.

The end products of anaerobic respiration are lactic acids or ethanol , Carbon dioxide and less amount of energy is released.
