binary fission:- 1) division of single entity into 2 parts,
2) nucleus divides into two nuclei
3) nucleus & cytoplasm divide together
4) division is seen in definite pattern
5)e.g.:-amoeba

multiple fission:-1) division of single entity into multiple parts
2) nucleus divides into multiple nuclei
3) nucleus gets divided first
4) division isn't in definite pattern
5)e.g.:-plasmodium

BINARY FISSION :-

1. it occurs when the environment condition is favourable for the organism

2. There is no protection covering formed outside the cell.

3. Only two new organism are formed by this type of reproduction.

MULTIPLE FISSION:-

1. it occurs when the environment condition are unfavourable for the organism.

2. A protection covering called cyst is formed outside the cell.

3. Many new individual are formed by this type of reproduction.
