black soil is black in colour .it is. mostly found in state such as Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra. it is suitable for growth of cotton crop
laterite soil is found in the area where there is heavy rainfall it is found in states like Kerala Goa. it is suitable for nuts cropping
