Chloroplast is a plastid which contains a green coloured pigment known as chlorophyll which helps the plants to make food themselves and get them recognized as autotrophs whereas leucoplast is a colourless plastid which is found in storage parts of the plant. Leucoplast helps a plant to store starch and glucose.
